The Thule 8591 Canyon Extension gives your Thule 859 Canyon roof cargo basket an extra 20 inches of length in the middle. The 8591 Canyon Extension gets bolted in between the front and back sections of the basket, allowing you to carry more gear. Like the Canyon basket, the Canyon Extension is made of powder-coated, tubular steel to support gear atop your vehicle's roof in style. Accessorizing your new Canyon basket? Bike racks, snowsports racks, and watersports racks can be added to the Canyon using the Thule 8591 Canyon Accessory Crossbars. When combined with the 8591 Canyon Extension, the Accessory Crossbars give you a well-spaced platform for long items like bike canoes, kayaks, bikes, skis, or snowboards. The Thule 692 Stretch Cargo Net can be added to help secure your gear. Adds 20 in. of length to the center of the Canyon basket. Tubular powder coated steel construction. Low profile design flawlessly matches the Thule 859 Canyon roof cargo basket's profile. Tapered side walls make it easy to load and unload.
